3D BODY MAPPING

3D Body Mapping is an excellent way in which to immediately convey both severity of injury and  distribution of wounding.  By incorporating all injuries onto one rotating body view, it is particularly useful in showing distribution of injury.  This aids the Jury in identifying location and extent of injury, as well as indicating the ferocity of an attack

3DRs are highly recommended where there are extensive stab wounds, blunt impact trauma, or a need to demonstrate bullet trajectories

Head injuries to skin, skull and brain can be demonstrated simultaneously by fading in and out the ‘skin’ to show external wounding and internal damage

Bullet trajectories can be demonstrated together with external bullet wounds and internal damage as they pass through organs or vessels

Additional views - ‘hotspots’ - can also be added into the 3DR to demonstrate defence wounds to hands, etc.

The 3D Body Map is easy to operate by the Barrister in the Courtroom and provided on Compact Disc.  All injuries are additionally shown in a full set of 2D Body Mapping
